Exploring New Horizons for AIquaBoost in Saudi Arabia

Published by AIquaBoost on

Exciting times for our team! Our CEO, Professor Alamgir Hossain , is currently in Saudi Arabia as part of the Global Business Innovation Programme (Agri-Tech) with Innovate UK.

Over the past few days, he’s been connecting with incredible people and organisations pushing the boundaries of sustainable aquaculture and food security:

💡 At the KAUST workshop, discussions centred around how AI and technology can help reduce food waste — a topic very close to our mission with AIquaBoost.

🌊 The KAUST Marine Fisheries team shared their inspiring work, with $20M already invested and another $30M on the way to develop new frameworks and technology solutions. It was a great opportunity to explore how AIquaBoost can play a role in their vision.

🦐 And a real highlight — visiting NAQUA, one of the largest aquaculture farms in the world. Their facility stretches over 70 km and produces around 60,000 tons of shrimp every year. Seeing AIquaBoost in action there was a proud moment for our team.

These experiences reflect our shared goal — using AI to make aquaculture more efficient, sustainable, and resilient for the future. 🌱
